Walk for the Animals
Join us Saturday, September 13th, from 11-3pm for the Walk for the Animals benefiting Action for Animals Humane Society. You can find us at Twin Lakes Park, pavilion #20, in Latrobe. The event will include a blessing of the animals, a charity walk around the lake, 50/50 raffle baskets, games, prizes, pet vendors and more. You may walk in person or virtually from your favorite walking spot but register early!
Hound Hike 2025
Join us for Hound Hike 2025 at Camp Guyasuta on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 10-3pm! This family-friendly event, hosted by Laurel Highlands Council, Scouting America, is a day of fun for dogs, their humans, and anyone who loves the outdoors. Enjoy scenic hiking trails, meet local dog trainers, grab a bite from food vendors, and capture festive photos of your pup with Santa!
Steel City Mega Pet Expo
Join us for the Steel City Mega Pet Expo on September 27–28, 2025 from 10-5pm, at the Monroeville Convention Center! Happening on September 28, 2025, from 8-2pm, at the scenic Boyce Park Ski Lodge in Plum, this full-day, family-friendly event is a 5K that you can walk or run with your best four-legged friend. Expect fun, low-stress obstacles that add a playful twist to your run; think of it as a “Pup Mudder” without the worry. Whether you're racing, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this is your pack’s moment to shine! Join in the festive atmosphere with local vendors, food trucks, ice cream, and treats galore!
Seven Springs Autumnfest
Join us at Autumnfest Weekends on October 11–12, 2025, from 11-5pm each day at beautiful Seven Springs Resort! Explore a full weekend of family fun across the mountain, including live musical performances, unique novelty acts, scenic chairlift rides over vibrant fall foliage, and artisan-crafted goods to take home. Kids will love the face painting, pumpkin patch, hay maze, balloon artists, crafts, and more, while adults can enjoy outdoor adventures, live entertainment, and the Alpine Slide. Parking and entertainment are free; fees apply only for select activities and food.
